PHARM.D. & PHARM.D.
DURATION : 2 YRS. (6 SEMESTERS)
The Pharm D program is an emerging concept globally focusing mainly on improving the healthcare system for better drug therapy by assisting medical practitioners. It is a clinical-oriented curriculum where the students would be trained to provide information about diseases, drugs, and lifestyle modifications to the patients in a hospital environment and work on improving the patient’s health condition.
B. PHARMACY
DURATION : 4 YRS. (8 SEMESTERS)
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a four-year undergraduate degree programme that teaches students about the properties and effects of pharmaceutical drugs. PCI has prescribed a four-year B.Pharm. Curriculum divided into eight semesters. Pharmaceutics,Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology are the core pharmacy subjects. In addition, the programme emphasises hospital training and industrial visits.
M. PHARM.(PHARMACEUTICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE )
DURATION : 2 YRS. (4 SEMESTERS)
M.Pharm. (Quality assurance) is a two-year duration course designed to meet the specific needs of the ever-expanding pharmaceutical industry, research organizations and academic institutions with special emphasis on the quality management system and regulatory submissions. The department of Quality Assurance is equipped with state-of-art laboratories, ultra-modern facilities and competent staff, which have been considered as the most sophisticated infrastructure in the country.
M. PHARM.(PHARMACEUTICS)
DURATION : 2 YRS. (4 SEMESTERS)
M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) is a two-year programme designed to meet the specific needs of the ever-expanding pharmaceutical industry, research organisations, and academic institutions, with a focus on formulation development, drug manufacturing technology,and pharmaceutics process development areas, all of which are critical fields for manufacturing drug delivery systems.
M. PHARM. (PHARMACOLOGY)
DURATION : 2 YRS. (4 SEMESTERS)
The syllabus is designed in such a way to make the students aware of preclinical and clinical experimental studies and provide them with advanced training in various fields of pharmacology at the molecular level, basic level and clinical level. Excellent experiments are carried out in each of these areas, which equip the student with skills for research. M. Pharm. (Pharmacology) helps the students to understand the clinical uses of drugs in the treatment of diseases, the concept of drug action and the adverse effects of drugs.
