Dear All,
It is indeed my honor and privilege to assume role of the Director, under graduate and post graduate studies on behalf of this University. I firmly believe that post graduate education is key towards progress of an individual and for the country. It is knowledge hub and serves as repository of intellectual eminence and excellence.
In our institution we offer a course for Engineering and Technology, Commerce and Management, Social Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Applied Sciences.
Our quality education and world class infrastructure can make a difference in student’s perception and motivate them to achieve higher goals while abiding by our core institutional values.
I welcome you all at Uttarakhand University, Dehradun my dear shining students already enrolled and many more aspirant meritorious ones, cordially invited to join one of the best University Campuses in this Historic and Heritage City, Dehradun. With the Management’s encouraging point of view and visionary planning and dynamism of our President, we envisage the University to steadily grow into a leading multi-disciplinary center for advanced learning. Our prime focus is on 360 degree transformation of students and other stakeholders. We make every effort to shape them into responsible citizens through imparting quality education and inculcating moral values. Our earnest objective is to provide quality service to current and future students as well as faculty and staff.
We are fully conscious that there exists an ample scope for us to improve our standards to reach higher pinnacles of academic excellence. Undoubtedly we would be able to achieve these objectives with cooperation of learned and highly experienced faculty members devoted to the 360 degree growth of students. Welcome to the IUSR
As interim dean of this university, I am extremely proud of the rich tradition of providing practical, experiential-based business education that our college has upheld since its founding. Our undergraduate and graduate business programs prepare our students to become leaders with the moral depth and intellectual intensity necessary to meet the challenges of a time of critical transition in society.
IUSR holds the prestigious business accreditation from NAAC, NBA, and various International organizations.
Located in an economic and cultural hub, the Uttarakhand University offers unique opportunities for our students to engage with international companies and communities. For example, through the Capstone Experience, our MBA students have completed over 3,000 strategic consulting projects for local and national companies, entrepreneurial ventures and not-for-profit organizations. The Capstone Experience has not only benefited the business community, but has provided the perfect opportunity for our students to begin putting their education into action.
Central to the success of our students and over 14,000 Uttarakhand University alumni, has been the decades of leadership and experience-based knowledge that our faculty bring into the classroom. As thought leaders in their industry, the knowledge and research contributions of our faculty continue to drive change and have a positive societal impact at the university, in the community, and across the globe.
